Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Indepth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Indepth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Within the Materials Management Organization as a purchaser You will have daily management rhythm to convert purchase requisition into purchase order to your allocated suppliers to track the progress of your open orders to secure timely delivery.
Also in relation with our factory and planning team you will be informed on any priorities. So you will expedite/convince your suppliers to improve their delivery plan accordingly and share progress status accordingly.
You will also work closely with our sourcing team in case negotiations or alternative sources are required.

• Place and followup on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO . Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
• Developing indepth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
• Use root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Impacts projects processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy but is focused on of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment but may require more senior levels of guidance.
• Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Ensure timely creation and release of Purchase Orders to support the primary schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job with supplier contact).
• 23 years of experience utilizing Lean tools as a root cause analysis 5Why....
• 23 years of demonstrable experience driving continuous improvement implementation.
• 23 years of experience interfacing with suppliers.

The base pay range for this position is $82K $138K USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 5/5/2025 or thereafter.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110 120 or 130 of salary in certain areas.
