Job Description
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Respond to any outside quality alerts with investigation and root cause analysis.
- Address all customer quality complaints.
- Work with internal manufacturing plants and suppliers to address and investigate any quality issues.
- Work with customer service to make sure all quality issues are correctly documented and investigated.
- Coordinate internal resources to properly investigate quality issues.
- Enact quality holds or returns as needed.
- Inspect material for quality issues
For This Role You Will Need:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 year of quality experience or equivalent experience
- Communication Skills
- Detailed oriented with ability to follow specific instructions
- Basic computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to read and follow processes and policies
- Ability to read technical drawings and compare against material
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Lift max of 35 lbs; tools available to assist with lifting and moving heavier items
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Working knowledge JD Edwards or other WMS
- Previous quality clerk experience
- Previous experience communicating/collaborating with multiple departments
