The team
The Group Business Platforms department at Schroders is a global technology change delivery function that oversees and executes all technology delivery within the organisation.
This department is strategically structured to align with technology services and shared Centre of Excellence (CoE) functions for Analysis engineering technical architecture low code and delivery fostering a collaborative environment where crossfunctional fungible skills can thrive.
By leveraging these diverse capabilities Group Business Platforms ensures the successful of technology initiatives while driving innovation and efficiency across the organisation.

What youll do
The Head of Delivery is a senior leadership role tasked with overseeing and governing the portfolio change roadmap and associated budget for the Group Business Platforms department.
This role will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies within Group Business Platforms but also across the entire Global Technology Function driving efficiency and effectiveness in delivery while fostering a culture of innovation.
Additionally the role encompasses the management of quality assurance processes to uphold high standards across all projects. Leading a direct team of approximately 10 professionals including Programme and Project Managers Quality Assurance Managers and Quality Assurance Leads the Head of Delivery will cultivate talent facilitate collaboration and ensure the successful delivery of highimpact technology initiatives across the organisation.

The knowledge experience and qualifications you need
Extensive experience in technology change delivery within a large global finance services organisation.
Extension experience of managing and governance a budget circa. 50m
Proven track record of managing and overseeing portfolio change roadmaps
Proven track record of managing and overseeing large scale Programmes
Strong understanding of delivery methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement practices.
Indepth knowledge of quality assurance processes and frameworks.
Experience in leading diverse teams including programme and project managers and quality assurance professionals.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Expertise in budget management and resource allocation
Experience of managing third party service providers and governing SLAs
Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in technology delivery.
Analytical and problemsolving skills with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
