Position Information: Citizens Health is looking for a Registered Nurse to work fulltime as a nurse supervisor at Citizens Medical Center our acute care facility. This position involves supervising nursing staff on shift within the patient care units delivering highquality professional nursing care and ensuring that patient care is delivered according to physician orders and established nursing standards. The Nursing Supervisor works closely with Nursing Managers and ancillary departments to ensure smooth operations foster a positive work environment and achieve the organizations overall goals.
Nurse Supervisors will report to the Nurse Manager.
Days/Hours: This facility is staffed 365 days a years 24 hours a day
Pay Range: Dependent upon degree and experience.
What youll do:
Collaborate with the planning development evaluation coordination and management of patients enforcing with department policies and protocols within the medical/surgical obstetrics and emergency departments and in coordination with the multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain supervision of all nursing personnel during assigned shifts.
Support nursing staff in evaluation of patients and notifying proper personnel and family with change of status of patient.
Perform rounds on unit with provider to evaluate and plan care on all patients.
Assist in providing ongoing training mentorship and support to nursing staff to ensures their skills and knowledge.
