Job Description

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Directors Office.

The Website Developer supports staff across the agencys 12 divisions to create modify or develop innovative designs to enhance website content. While working within the Communications Office (CO) team and agency website editors and publishers the incumbent will lead an effort and develop a plan to improve the overall website design and structure. Essential technical skills include expert abilities in website page design web publishing thorough knowledge of web page construction and strong project management skills. Duties include working with others on the CO team to ensure adequate usability accessibility and performance of the website. This position will also contribute to the effort to provide training for staff to ensure documents are Section 508 compliant. The position provides website training and supports Moodle GovDelivery AccessGov and ARCGIS platforms.

Additional Information

This position may be eligible for partial teleworkwithin the state of conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.

This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1 2025 and July 1 2026.

The primary location for this position may be open for consideration contingent on available workspace. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state and DPHHS policies.
