Client: Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement (Community Services Cluster)
Location: 777 Bay Street 4th Floor Toronto Ontario
Work Arrangement: Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)
Start Date: April 1 2025
End Date: March 31 2026
Bill Rate: 50CAD/hr
The selected candidate will develop and enhance .NETbased applications. Responsibilities include translating technical specifications into tested applications writing code conducting unit testing troubleshooting and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop C# .NET applications using Visual Studio 2017/2022.
Document code changes following ministry standards.
Conduct unit testing and resolve defects.
Collaborate with the design and QA teams.
Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with ministry staff.
Analyze requirements for new features and reports.
Troubleshooting performance issues in webbased applications.
Developing reusable software components.
Building applications compatible across multiple browsers.
Developing applications using relational databases.
Diagnosing application issues without server access.
Working with teams on packaging and deployment.
Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework 4.8.
Experience with MS Visual Studio 2017/2022 and XML.
Oracle 19c and PL/SQL expertise.
Azure DevOps with GIT and YAML pipelines.
Frontend: Bootstrap AngularJS Angular v17 (TypeScript RXJS NGRX Lodash Material) jQuery JavaScript HTML5 CSS3.
Experience with Windows Linux and UNIXbased systems.
WCAG AA and AODA compliance knowledge.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to learn and improve skills.
Effective problemsolving abilities.
Attention to detail and Agile team experience.
Prior experience in a public sector or large organization.
Experience with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
Middleware and gateway development experience.
Knowledge of AODA standards and accessibility regulations.
Capability to create and maintain system and user documentation.
All deliverables and documentation must be stored in designated repositories (e.g. SharePoint Azure DevOps GIT).
Final documentation walkthrough required before project end or consultant exit.
Ongoing updates via 1:1 sessions emails and documentation reviews.
