Job Description

  • Schedule:Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat 08:00 AM04:30 PM
  • Rate: Travel: $1460/35hours; Local: $1435/35hours
Requirements:
  • Valid and active Occupational Therapy Assistant State license
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients to identify their physical and functional limitations.
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient.
  • Carry out interventions and activities to enhance patients motor skills mobility and daily independence.
  • Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment to enhance their functional abilities.
  • Keep precise and uptodate patient records noting progress treatments and condition changes.
  • Offer patients and families guidance and training for athome exercises to aid their ongoing recovery.
  • Keep in touch with the Occupational Therapist and the healthcare team for coordinated patient care.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols ensuring a safe therapy environment for patients.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients as they work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
  • Other duties assigned by Management
