About the Role:
The Senior Manager / Associate Vice President – FIG will be responsible for executing investment banking transactions in the financial services sector including M&A capital raising and strategic advisory. This role involves leading financial analysis valuation and deal structuring as well as developing client presentations and marketing materials. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the financial institutions sector (FIG) and a deep understanding of banking insurance NBFCs and other financial services firms.
Job Description:
Deal & Financial Analysis
Lead financial analysis valuation and financial modeling to support investment banking transactions.
Conduct indepth industry research competitive benchmarking and financial due diligence for FIG clients.
Support and drive of M&A private equity and capital raising transactions.
Pitch & Marketing Materials
Prepare highquality pitch books presentations and investment memos for client meetings.
Develop marketing materials and strategic insights to support business development efforts.
Collaborate with senior leadership and sector specialists to identify and pitch new opportunities.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Engage with clients investors and financial institutions to support deal structuring and negotiations.
Work closely with internal teams including legal compliance and risk to ensure smooth transaction .
Maintain strong industry relationships and track key market trends in the financial services sector.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or an equivalent qualification.
Experience: 6 to 8 years in investment banking FIG advisory or financial services M&A.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the banking NBFC insurance asset management and fintech sectors.
Financial Expertise: Proficiency in financial modeling valuation techniques and transaction structuring.
Presentation & Communication: Strong ability to create highquality client presentations and reports.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in M&A capital markets and private equity transactions within the financial sector.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and trends impacting FIG transactions.
Strong relationship management and business development skills.
