Job Description
3D Piping Design & Modeling: Utilize CADWorx Plant Professional to develop 3D models of piping systems ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
Isometric Drawings: Generate isometric drawings from P&IDs facilitating clear communication of design intent.
Clash Detection: Perform clash checks to identify and resolve potential conflicts between piping systems and other plant components.
Material Specifications: Prepare and review Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and Valve Material Specifications (VMS) ensuring appropriate material selection.
Coordination: Collaborate with engineers vendors and other design disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient designs.
Documentation: Assist in the preparation of line lists valve lists and Bill of Materials supporting procurement and construction activities.
Requirements
Experience: 3 8 years in piping design within the oil and gas sector.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in CADWorx suite including CADWorx Plant Professional and CADWorx P&ID.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME B31.3 API 570 and ASME Educational Background: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Additional Tools: Experience with AutoCAD Navisworks and Autodesk Plant 3D is advantageous.
