We are seeking an experienced and organized Reservation Manager to oversee all aspects of our booking and reservation operations. In this role you will manage reservation systems coordinate with internal departments and ensure a seamless booking experience for guests or clients. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills strong attention to detail and a background in hospitality or customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize reservation systems and procedures to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries and bookings efficiently providing exceptional service at all times
- Coordinate with sales front desk and operations teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless guest experiences
- Monitor reservation trends and generate comprehensive reports for management review
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Develop and implement strategies to increase bookings and revenue
- Train and supervise reservation staff ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and promote special packages and offers
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor practices to maintain a competitive edge
- Resolve complex booking issues and handle VIP reservations with utmost care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in reservation processes
- Conduct regular audits of reservation data to maintain accuracy and integrity
- Implement and manage overbooking strategies to optimize revenue while minimizing guest inconvenience
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting for the reservation department
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a reservation management or similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems and booking platforms (e.g. Opera ResDiary etc.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in both English and Arabic
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience managing a team and working crossfunctionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation software
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret reports
- Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience in revenue management and pricing strategies
- Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of Egyptian tourism industry and local market trends
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Proven track record of implementing successful overbooking strategies
