THE POSITION
The Pennsylvania Lottery is seeking an experienced energetic sales professional to serve a specific sales territory within the Philadelphia County area.
As a Lottery Sales Representative you will provide product guidance and support to existing retailers while actively working with them to increase their sales. You will have the opportunity to utilize your sales skills to recruit new retailers educate them on the benefits of joining our retailer network and provide strategies that will help them succeed. Best of all you will be working for one of the mostrespected brands in Pennsylvania and on behalf of a very important mission: to generate funding to benefit older Pennsylvanians. As a Lottery Sales Representative you willread and interpret sales data engage business owners and customers in discussion regarding the value of Lottery products and provide detailed information surrounding procedures and products. This position is responsible for coordinating promotions for new games and products and analyzing the effectiveness of various marketing techniques. You will have the opportunity to conduct onsite inspections and complete Lottery Accessibility Compliance Location Surveys in order to determine if prospective retailers are compliant with Retailer Accessibility Program (RAP) requirements.Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will network interact and engage players at retailer events and collaborate with other sales representatives. Additional duties includenavigating a webbased portal and maintaining proficiency in the utilization of PCs and electronic tablets to efficiently complete tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week home headquartered
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $50836.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or
- Any equivalent experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid motor vehicle operators license.
Additional Requirements:
- You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners.
- This position will travel to cover Philadelphia County. The candidate must reside in Philadelphia County:. Relocation is not an option.
- You must possess four or more years of sales experience.
- You must possess four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
- You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
- You must be available to work the required work schedule 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
