Job Description
Villanova Universitys Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering CEE seeks candidates for a fulltime tenuretrack position in transportation engineering starting in the fall 2023 semester. The department is looking for a highly qualified and energetic individual who will complement and strengthen our outstanding faculty. Candidates with expertise in the areas of: human factors autonomous and connected systems resilient infrastructure design traffic/transportation safety risk and reliability of engineered systems smart mobility and data analytics are highly encouraged to apply. The position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor as determined by the qualifications of the candidate. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order. Duties And Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to develop a sustainable research program mentor undergraduate and graduate students teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses and engage in impactful service.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely aligned discipline (must be completed at the time of hire).
