Global Trading Solutions is looking for a Senior Risk BA with strong background in in Intraday and EOD risk management for the Metal/Commodities trading. The candidate will be actively involved in projects and is accountable for collaborating with various teams such as: Front Office Quants Market Risk Middle Office Back Office and downstream systems users.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
- Directly work with traders Quants and technology teams to define scopes identify risk management requirements and providing support to the desk.
- Capture and document details BRD for Metal financial physical trades leasing and financing.
- Works with Quants and Quantdev to estimate cost plan project timelines and features.
- Define validate and support solutions for intraday risk metrics for global trading businesses.
- Support the integration of risk with enterprise systems ensuring accuracy of PnL and reporting.
- Assist in resource allocation project scheduling and delivery.
Leadership Skills and Accountability:
Initiative Delivery Requirements and Business Testing Management
- Act as a liaison across stakeholders to alignment business needs and priority.
- Support business with potential alternatives.
- Coaches and guides members within area of expertise.
- Understand prioritize and rank product enhancements and bugfixes.
Business Product Knowledge:
- Knowledge of commodities business including:
- Physical Metals business Leasing financing and Inventory management.
- Strong Derivatives product knowledge (Fut Fwd Avg Options etc.
- Risk metrics and PnL Explain.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of risk and pnl within Endur or other risk management systems Setting up Curve Contract simulations EOD risk & pnl etc
- Ability to write SQL statements for analytical work
- Strong Excel skills (formulas pivots macros etc.
Asset Classes:
- Commodities including Precious Metals Base Metals Oil Gas and Emission
Salary:
$110000.00 $204100.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
