Job Description
South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront is looking for a Part Time Maintenance Technician. If you are a highly motivated professional looking to grow your career consider joining our awesome team.
OBJECTIVE: To maintain the hotels guest and inhouse areas in accordance with the standards by performing preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Replace light switches receptacles light bulbs and fixtures. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and circuit issues from distributions to service points.
- Replace and program televisions as needed.
- Make repairs to the hotel air conditioning system: change filters clean coils and replace motors.
- Perform furniture repair.
- Perform plumbing repairs (i.e. clogged drains replace washers change handles drain fittings changing toilet seats etc..
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
- Test clean and basic repairs for swimming pools and spas.
- Paint designated areas.
- Responding to and completing guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Performing well under pressure situations with time demands
- Work on daily Maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Technical and Mechanical experience
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- SelfMotivated
- HVAC training preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to push pull grasp lift or carry supplies equipment or tools weighing up to 50lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer serviceorientated environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

- Evening shift 2:30 pm 11:00 pm (may vary)
- Weekends
- Some Weekends and Holidays
