Job Description

Position Summary
The Virtual Home Visiting Coordinator (the coordinator) is a grantfunded position working under the direction of the MidAtlantics Center for Childrens Health and the Environment MACCHE CoDirectors and Principal Investigators. The individual in this position will be responsible for taking the lead in developing a virtual home visiting tool to address environmental health risks for residents in Region 3 (Department of Health and Human Services region covers PA DE MD VA WV and Washington DC). The individual will also pilot the tool and begin the virtual home visiting program. The coordinator will organize MACCHEs monthly newsletter contribution to the national program office and triage consultation calls and emails to the MACCHE team. The individual will represent MACCHE at Villanova University and National Program Office Meetings and selected webinars and support MACCHE programing.

Duties And Responsibilities
Develop virtual home visiting tool to address environmental health risk factors for residents in Region 3 (Department of Health and Human Services region covers PA DE MD VA WV and Washington DC). Pilot the tool and begin virtual home visiting program. Organize MACCHEs monthly newsletter contribution to the national program office. Triage consultation calls and emails to the MACCHE team. Represent MACCHE at the University and National Program Office Meetings and selected webinars. Support MACCHE programing.

Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Nursing Public Health or Environmental Science 2 Years of work experience Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to set goals and bring a project to completion Library skills to search for community health and environmental health evidence Ability to use and highlight the work of MACCHE via social media

Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in community health home visiting and environmental health and be able to work across sectors of academic government and community partners.
