Position Summary
The Director Professional Education Enrollment is a critical role the Colleges Admissions and Enrollment team responsible for the daytoday enrollment processes for all open enrollment professional education (noncredit) courses and programs in the College of Professional Studies. This individual has exceptional experience in and passion for enrollment in the noncredit shortcourse microcredential and stackable credentials space for adult learners seeking to upskill. This individual supervises coaches leads motivates and evaluates the team responsible for enrollment. This individual ensures that the target enrollment goals for professional education are achieved. The Director will leverage data and technology to effectively manage inquiry and enrollment pipelines. This individual is creative highly motivated and always seeks to improve. They will be responsible for all of the processes associated with cultivating prospective student leads and building and maintaining relationships with candidates that span across the enrollment timeline from inquiry to registration. They will manage the daytoday operations of the enrollment process as well as all associated enrollment policies partnering with others in the College and across various functional areas of the University as needed. This individual will design plan and conduct information sessions presentations and represent the programs at various events regionally and nationally as needed delegating to team members as appropriate. Duties And Responsibilities
55 PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION ENROLLMENT Develop and implement recruitment plans for existing and new open enrollment professional education courses and programs ensuring an exceptional high touch experience throughout the prospective student journey. Collaborate with Assistant Dean to set annual enrollment goals for professional education. Achieve overall enrollment goals sustaining and growing revenue to the College. Develop and manage enrollment processes and communication cycles to ensure a high quality personalized experience for prospects and applicants; implement yield strategies. Create and institute processes / documents for professional education students registering in the course merchant electronic platform. Identify and attract new student populations to enlarge the enrollment funnel and attract new audiences. Establish best practices and process documentation for enrollment working closely with Academic Programs Team as needed. Develop and implement a strategic recruitment and retention model in partnership with Academic Programs Team designed to drive program awareness and foster multiyear student engagement. Expand and execute existing efforts to increase diversity and access. Lead student recruitment efforts including organizing information sessions attending recruitment events and fairs presenting to various stakeholders to aid lead generation and strategic marketing efforts. Liaise with central University marketing team to consider appropriate marketing channels to create marketing campaigns that most effectively highlight programs and initiatives to develop promotions and develop marketing collateral tailored for select audiences. Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including faculty students staff alumni and University constituents with the goal of continuing to increase the breadth quality and diversity of students enrolled in CPS professional education programs. Attend recruitment and admissions events regionally nationally and virtually. Evaluate success of enrollment activities and adjust plans and strategies to meet changing CPS goals. Partner with Corporate Development team to build strategic partnerships and enrollment pipelines. Develop strong culture of data reporting and analysis to drive results and continuous improvement. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders including formal end of year annual reports on enrollment. Partner with the Assistant Dean of Enrollment and College Leadership to recommend and assess potential new subject offerings and / or new types of offerings. 40 TEAM LEADERSHIP Hire coach and lead the CPS professional education recruitment team. Set and manage performance targets. Manage the daytoday operations of enrollment process. Create and implement processes to support timely enrollment under tight deadlines. Develop and implement individual and team goals. Train develop and evaluate staff; provide ongoing feedback on performance improvement. Support staff on process improvement and performance management. 5 Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in a relevant field. Equivalent combination of education and business experience may be considered. Strong understanding of the noncredit/executive education/microcredential/stackable credential market and trends. Knowledgeable about digital marketing in the professional education environment. Overall strategic and critical thinker; ability to employ persuasive skills with executive audiences. Experience leading recruitment efforts for the adult population. Demonstrated success in recruiting initiatives and a track record of success in quantifying results. Able to make decisions in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities across a variety of programs. Candidates must be proficient in all standard computer applications including Microsoft Office products particularly Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel. 710 years experience in enrollment management function with progressive responsibility and experience leading complex teams related to the admission and enrollment of adult learners. Demonstrated experience developing and executing effective enrollment strategies for the adult population within professional education offerings. They must have experience developing targeted compelling and effective communications messages; managing projects deadlines and priorities; planning coordinating and executing events; managing relationships with various constituents; and working and leading teams. Additionally candidates must demonstrate experience creating and delivering presentations and other public speaking activities. Great initiative highly motivated with a continued willingness to develop new skills and an enthusiasm for exceeding expectations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly professional demeanor and be a team player. Ability to handle a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects/tasks with varied deadlines. Poised with strong customerservice skills and be able to work independently under general supervision. Strong analytical skills and the ability to create interpret and present enrollment data. Preferred Qualifications
Strong preference for candidates with extensive experience managing and using D2L Course Merchant and Slate.
