We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at ICAT. This role will be based in Broomfield Colorado. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role is in the operations of a Managing General Agency (MGA) understanding how catastrophic modeling impacts underwriting pricing and risk management while making a direct impact on business results through your analytical skills.
We will count on you to:
Service a book of business throughout the full policy lifecycle while adhering to service standards.
Build and maintain relationships with agency partners and sales representatives to enhance risk classification bind ratios and sales volume.
Understand agency management product distribution and claims procedures to support growth and underwriting profit.
Create and maintain operational procedures to ensure efficiency.
Communicate professionally with producers via phone email and chat regarding underwriting policy servicing and billing inquiries.
Mentor and train less experienced team members while collaborating crossfunctionally with Compliance Claims Product and Underwriting for process improvements and product enhancements.
What you need to have:
1 year of work experience in an office environment preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong attention to detail creativity and intellectual curiosity coupled with effective communication skills.
Excellent customer service abilities and strong time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and MS Teams.
What makes you stand out:
Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
3 years of insurance or closely related office experience with successful completion of insurance and/or financial designations.
Experience utilizing thirdparty catastrophe risk modeling services.
