We are looking for a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for maximizing sales and service of brands to retail and onpremise customers in an assigned territory. You will develop strong customer relationships by making many account calls per month to identify and source new revenue opportunities to meet assigned goals.
Our Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Sales Business or related field OR
- At least five years of sales experience required.
- Valid state motor vehicle operators license.
Our Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in the sales and marketing of alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to collaborate with key suppliers and advance positive relationships.
- Ability to use financial analysis to generate evaluate and act on strategic options and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate update persuade and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software programs.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
- Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
- Ability to act as a team player.
Your Responsibilities
- Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge.
- Introduce new products and promotions; provide marketing services to customers.
- Analyze competitive products promotion pricing and marketing policies.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise.
- Execute plans and special promotions.
- Ensure distribution goals are met.
- Create and maintain activity reports.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer/IPad (e.g. keyboard mouse and monitor) or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking bending reaching standing and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering pushing carrying or pulling up to 25lbs
