Vishay Dale is currently seeking applicants for a Quality Engineer Intern at the Columbus NE location. Support our Vishay 3.0 Think Customer First approach by helping to build robust quality systems where compliance meets innovation. Drive excellence through PPAP(Production Part Approval Process) automation and system mastery.
Job Location:
Vishay Dale Electronics Columbus NE is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of resistors and ebeam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
What you will be doing:
Develop a strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) IATF16949 and PPAP requirements.
Assist in automating and optimizing the PPAP process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare and structure PPAP data for seamless integration into new software systems.
Collaborate with engineering marketing and quality teams to ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and International Quality Standards.
Other development may include conducting measuring system analysis maintenance of pFMEAs and supporting customer complaint investigations using the 8D problemsolving methodology.
What you will bring along:
Enrolled in a two or fouryear college/university.
Electrical Mechanical Industrial Chemical Engineering or Computing Science emphasis.
Predominant focus in troubleshooting problem solving and continuous improvement.
Extensive computer knowledge including the use of software such as Microsoft Word Excel Access Outlook and Power Point.
