General Purpose:
Our Marketing Assistant will help us become the most recognizable name in the nonprofit community! This person plays a key role in amplifying our message supporting campaigns and creating content.
The ideal candidate is a creative dynamic selfstarter who is interested in working on a small marketing team and likes to try new ideas while monitoring progress against goals. This position will report to the VP of Marketing & Communications or delegate.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions including communications advertising branding digital marketing and social media. The Marketing Assistant must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and/or Expertise:
Two years communications and/or marketing experience required.
Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities.
Commitment to being a highperformance team player.
Other Skills:
Person will be of flawless integrity
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Detail oriented.
Highly organized.
Thrive in fast paced environments.
Requirements:
Interest and ability to represent the agency in the public eye.
Ability to have a flexible work schedule which may include occasional evenings or weekend
Applicants must be able to successfully perform the essential physical functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
Sufficient strength agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to supervise program activities.
Requires ability to walk sit stand bend squat pull/push grasp up to 48 hours per day.
The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
