Your next career opportunity
As the Engagement Officer for the Faculty of Arts youll play a pivotal role in planning and executing engaging programmes for academics the public alumni and donors. Youll become a trusted partner for academic staff supporting highquality engagement through events and activities. Working within the Engagement and Partnerships team youll contribute to bestpractice processes and help disseminate academic knowledge through innovative engagement strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate Engagement Activity: Plan and deliver the Facultys engagement programs supporting public and academic engagement initiatives as needed.
  • Manage Event Logistics: Provide comprehensive event management support including registration supplier liaison venue bookings budgeting and risk assessment.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Adhere to University processes and policies maintaining high standards in all engagement activities.
  • Develop Communication Materials: Prepare professional internal and external communications maintaining uptodate website content.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a detailoriented professional with excellent event management skills strong communication abilities and a talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders in an academic environment.

You also have:

  • Have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in managing small and largescale events including VIP and online/hybrid formats.
  • Excel in planning organisation and attention to detail.
  • Thrive in a team environment and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
