Overview:

USC Communications is seeking an Advancement Marketing Coordinator to join its team. The Communications team sets the strategic communications vision and marketing strategies that promote the campus communitys innovative accomplishments builds a strong brand identity and nurtures the Universitys reputation among its vast constituencies. Reporting to the Project Manager the Advancement Marketing Coordinator administers marketing activities for Advancement and supports the Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates advancement marketing campaigns and activities.
Acts as project manager for the teams planned giving leadgeneration annual giving and USC Alumni Association marketing and communications projects.
Assists in developing targeted marketing plans audience segments and campaign reporting.
Collaborates with team leads and communicators across the university to develop and place philanthropic and impact content across channels and formats.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a hybrid position under our current work arrangement plan with the expectation of onsite presence in our offices in the USC Tower located adjacent to campus in downtown Los Angeles.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree.
3 years experience in marketing.
Combined experience/education can substitute for minimum education and minimum experience
Thorough knowledge of marketing and business management.
Knowledge of the principles practices concepts and methodology of marketing.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
In addition the successful candidate must also demonstrate through ideas words and actions a strong commitment to USCs Unifying Values.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree.
Salary and Benefits
The budgeted salary range for this position is $75134.23 $90000.00. When determining an offer the University of Southern California considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education training key skills internal peer alignment applicable laws contractual requirements grant funding and market conditions.
