Job Description
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Extensive project engineering management experience on highvalue oil & gas capital projects. Specific experience is SAGD and/or gas processing project is ideal.
- Comprehensive understanding of project project management and project control methodologies.
- Full life cycle project management experience (FEED to Commissioning)
- Comprehensive understanding of the project life cycle for highvalue gas processing and/or insitu heavy oil projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong people skills supported by effective decision making and influential negotiation skills.
Education Qualifications Accreditation Training:
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and provide oversite to key capital oil & gas capital projects.
- Must have an active practicing registration with APEGA or EGBC and the ability to become a responsible member of the company permit if trained and approved.

Purpose:
We are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to join us in either our Calgary Edmonton or Vancouver office.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on key projects in the oil & gas sector and within an EPCM environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering team on major/largescale projects ensuring alignment with project objectives safety quality cost and schedule.
- Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams coordinating across all engineering disciplines to deliver integrated and technically sound designs.
- Provide technical and leadership support throughout all phases of the project lifecyclefrom project definition and proposal development to detailed engineering and commissioning.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet applicable codes standards regulations (including APEGA) and client specifications.
- Interface regularly with project management procurement construction and commissioning teams to ensure alignment and seamless project .
- Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment mentoring engineers and supporting professional development.
- Act as a primary engineering point of contact for internal stakeholders clients and third parties.
