In addition to serving the traditional industrial manufacturing Customers we are engaged in providing superior Japanese technology to new applications like emobility medical and renewables. ACG supplies compressed air technology from Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co. Ltd in Japan.
Sales Manager OEM Compressors (m/w/d)
This position is responsible for knowing all the customer application market sales and technical aspects of the product (oilfree compressors).
He/she is the goto contact for questions from all internal (sales engineering service and external functions (channel partners endcustomers).
The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in differences in compressor product lineup and technology; airend technology design; operating conditions and applications; certifications and compliance; and differences in selling advantages.
Duties and responsibilities
Provides support to Sales for documentation and knowledge
Technical data sheets
Competitor benchmarking (price performance features functions)
Coordination with engineering for product lineup and customized solutions
Market development and investigation for new applications
Visits and meetings to prospects and customers
Product launches (presentations training marketing material etc.
Sales team product questions and feedback (functions features product availability pricing)
Sales team quote / bid support
Quality warranty service problem management (R&D and operations)
Business case development / updates sales & margin tracking
Customer visits and Voice of the Customer (VoC) analysis
Candidate must have exceptional team skills with ability to communicate with cross functional teams.
Qualification and Skills:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field is preferred.
Professional experience and skills:
Minimum five years as Engineer or Sales of (Oilfree) Compressor Technology.
Aptitude to learn the theory and application of Recip Scroll Rotary Screw (OilFree and OilInjected) Compressors Controls & Air Treatment (Refrig Dessicant dryers etc..
Basic working knowledge of H&S issues documentation Risk Assessments Method Statements and Personal Safety CE certification as well as current legislation relating to the tasks being undertaken.
Strong customer focus.
Selfmotivated high initiative selfdirected.
Strong attention to details.
Achievement oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PC and CRM proficiency.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel 3050 domestic and international.
Good command of English (oral & written) is a must any further language (Japanese Russian) is an asset. Ability to fit in as part of the team.
Frequent travels at customers site including EMEA.
Having a Driving license.
