Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay HiRel is currently seeking applicants for a Material Handler at the Duluth MN location.

Job Location:

This position will be onsite at the Duluth MN facility near airport road and superior.

The Material Handling team provides value add by providing support with:

Material Preparation and Transport:

• Kit materials to work orders.
• Pick parts and materials from stock or machines and move them to the next line according to schedule.
• Utilize specialized moving devices in plants as assigned.

Inventory Management:

• Examine stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory counts.
• Issue materials to jobs using production software.
• Repackage materials as necessary for storage or transport to manufacturing lines.
• Monitor agesensitive material.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Ensure appropriate documentation of tasks in the systems.

Shipping and Receiving:

• Prepare goods for final shipment including packaging and shipping the final product.
• Lift and transport heavy items as necessary.

Skills & Qaulifications:

• Familiarity with production software and inventory management systems.
• Ability to operate specialized moving devices and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in material handling or a related field.

Pay: $20$22/hr
