Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree Excellent communications skills. Linguistic competency in American Sign Language and English bilingual. Cultural competencies in Deaf culture and other diverse intersections of cultural identity. Experience with curriculum/instructional design development of online content and teaching in online learning environments. Experience in teaching interpreters (in credit and noncredit programming) with a focus on Deaf interpreters Demonstrated knowledge of the development of videobased learning activities. Experience designing curriculum/instruction delivery that engages students in active learning. Proficiency in computer applications including: Canvas Learning Management system Google Suite Video editing and production Experience working with multiple organizations to implement program initiatives. Experience with mentoring novice Deaf interpreters. Experience with educational event planning Experience with program management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with program development Experience with federal state or local grants. Additional technical skills including WordPress experience.
