KIAHTV CW39 Houston is seeking a highly organized detailoriented and creative problemsolver to join our team as a Sales Assistant. This critical role ensures the success of postsale campaign playing an essential part in the stations revenue growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment excels at managing complex processes and has a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
As Sales Assistant you will oversee all aspects of postsale activities for assigned clients ensuring seamless optimization and reporting of campaigns. Acting as a key liaison between sales traffic and clients youll bring strategic thinking and proactive solutions to every stage of the campaign lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign & Stewardship
- Manage and facilitate the of largescale and complex advertising campaigns.
- Transition sales orders into trafficready status ensuring copy instructions and revisions are accurately communicated and processed.
- Collaboration & ProblemSolving
- Serve as the primary business partner for sales traffic and other internal teams to meet client needs.
- Interpret contract requirements resolve discrepancies and develop creative solutions to meet client expectations including makegoods and underdelivery resolutions.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Review preempt notices oversell reports and other inventory metrics to proactively address issues.
- Create ad hoc performance reports with actionable insights analyzing campaign effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Process Improvement
- Develop and implement best practices to streamline campaign processes and establish metrics to measure success.
- Lead efforts to identify efficiencies and enhance future campaign performance.
- Event & Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the stations marketing and promotional teams to support external event activations grassroots campaigns and experiential marketing initiatives.
- Assist in planning and executing station promotional events to increase brand visibility and community engagement.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Support other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by station leadership to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Business Management Marketing Communications or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on creative problemsolving and delivering results.
