What
This position will plan layout install test and repair electrical systems apparatus and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment following electrical code manuals schematic diagrams blueprints and other specifications.
Main aspects of the role include:
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment. Provides operators with technical assistance and training as necessary. Monitors line efficiency and works with Engineering staff and Production Supervisors on line improvements.
- Performs industrial wiring including: hardware installation; wire pulling; circuit identification and testing; equipment modification; system evaluation testing and repair; and system maintenance. Work is performed on 480/240/120V single and multiple phase systems and low voltage AC and DC systems and includes optical and inductive sensing devices using hand tools power tools and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Installs and repairs all electrical equipment in conjunction with plant requirements and National Electrical Code. Performs work in accordance with all local state and federal codes and regulations. Prepare sketches and drawings showing the location of wiring and equipment.
- Performs maintenance and calibration on production electronic equipment and controls including computerized plant equipment in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Maintains records of repairs calibrations and tests.
- Fabricate and repair cGMP equipment while always maintaining the corrosion resistance standards for stainless and aluminum pharmaceutical grade equipment. Repairs maintenance or troubleshooting performed under cGMP conditions will be performed while fully gowned in cGMP apparel and may also require compliance documentation which must be completed in a timely manner.
- Works with compliance department and participates with management on the six system approach to the continuous development of cGMP facilities and equipment (IQ OQ PQ Root Cause Analysis Corrective Action Plans and Change Control Documentation).

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training in electrical/electronics. In addition this candidate must possess a State of Oregon JourneyLevel Electricians license (General or Manufacturing Plant). Two to four years experience in Industrial plant wiring (including 480/240/120 volt threephase power distribution and motor circuit) troubleshooting plant instrumentation systems programming various systems on programmable controllers motor/system control applications and repair of various electronic systems and printed circuit boards is required. Lastly the ability and flexibility of working hours (nights/weekends) is required to support company needs and technical assistance.
