Job Description

Praescient Analytics is seeking a DevSecOps / QA Automation Engineer to join our team to support the IRSs Information Technology Control Tool (ITCT) contract. This position requires US citizenship and an MBI clearance.

This position will be remote but must able to be onsite for any required meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for Power Platform solution packaging and deployment
  • Develop automated test suites (unit functional regression and accessibility testing)
  • Integrate security and compliance tools into the build process including static code analysis and vulnerability scans
  • Monitor application telemetry logs and performance metrics using tools such as Application Insights and Power Platform Admin Center
  • Track and triage defects identified during internal QA or IRSled UAT
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards through automated and manual testing
  • Maintain traceability of test results code commits and deployment artifacts for audit and documentation purposes
  • Collaborate with developers and the PM to define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs)

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship and an MBI Clearance.
  • 35 years of experience in DevOps QA engineering or automated testing
  • Experience with Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD toolchains
  • Familiarity with Power Platform solutions and deployment automation
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting frameworks (e.g. Selenium Playwright or PowerApps Test Studio)
  • Experience conducting Section 508 accessibility tests (manual and automated)
  • Ability to write and maintain infrastructureascode for environment consistency
  • Strong understanding of SDLC in Agile delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting government IT programs or IRS projects
  • Familiarity with FISMA NIST or FedRAMP compliance requirements
  • Experience using Application Insights or similar telemetry platforms
  • ISTQB CSM or Microsoft Power Platform certifications a plus
