Job Description
PROGRAM OPERATION: Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes. Provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught to students and follows syllabus content and requirements. Maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy as outlined in the Adjunct Handbook. Submits requested information within established timelines. STUDENTS: Is available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions/provide assistance. Deal with student concerns and if necessary consult with program coordinator to resolve issues. INSTRUCTION: Meet all scheduled classes of contracted course(s). Use technology such as Canvas PowerPoint etc. as appropriate. In event of emergency absence notifies program/department chair. Conduct all activities with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people styles and views. Promote same as an integral part of ones work.
Minimum Qualifications:
A qualified faculty member inCloud Technologiesmeets the program standard through one of four routes:
- Possesses an earned masters degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in information systems information technology or related field as appropriate to the program; or
- Possesses an earned related or outof field masters degree from a regionally accredited institution with documented 18 semester hours or equivalent of courses beyond the introductory principle(s) level in information systems information technology or related field as appropriate to the program; or
- Possesses an earned related or outoffield masters degree from a regionally accredited institution with documentation in two or more of the following:
- Professional certification (national regional or state)
- Two years of infield professional employment
- Documented evidence of teaching excellence including date of award
- Documentation of research and publication in the field
- Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelors degree equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework CEUs vendor or military; or
- Possesses an earned bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution in information systems information technology or related field as appropriate to the program with documentation in two or more of the following:
- Professional certification (national regional or state) in the field
- Two years of infield professional employment
- Documented evidence of teaching excellence including date of award
- Documentation of research and publication in the field
- Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelors degree equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework CEUs vendor or military.
