Job Description

Northland Community and Technical College seeks a fulltime Chemistry Instructor for both campus locations; Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks dedicated to excellence in teaching who desires to become part of a creative vibrant studentcentered learning community.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree with a major in chemistry or a Masters degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits 27 graduate quarter credits) in chemistry.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with higher education guidelines and policies.

  • Have a minimum of two years experience teaching. Coursework in teaching pedagogies and preparation in principled and methods of evaluation.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.

  • Be knowledgeable about methods of instruction testing and evaluation of students.

  • Experience using instructional technology

Other Requirements

In accordance with the Minnesota State Vehicle Fleet Safety Program employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota States vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
