Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for daily operations in the assigned unit including troubleshooting and resolving operations issues. Participation on the Fire Brigade/ Emergency Response Team is required. Operator Technicians are expected to know/learn the mechanical workings of pumps piping systems and operating requirements for Terminal operations.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria as a minimum requirement for the position:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years operator maintenance craft or environmental techexperience in a petrochemical manufacturing facility.
- An Associate Degree in Process Technology or Process Technology Certification
- Military Experience
- Must be able to wear a respirator and are expected to complete Emergency Response Team Training.

Physical Requirements:
- Work is primarily moderate; exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move ob
- The ability to perform the following activities for 34 hours at a time: stand and walk climb stairs and ladders lift at least 50 pounds and open/close valves up to 16 inches.
