Job Description
Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the bodys organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate evaluate and record critical functional pathological and anatomical data. Records test results inspects and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed. Reviews physician requisition orders and instructions concerning patient preparation for ultrasound procedure. May communicates to OB/GYN nursing team status of patient condition pre and post procedure. Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for patients with high risk indications.Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Work Experience: 5 years for support or 02 years for professionalCertification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
