Job Description

Business Management
The Business Management Manager manages a team of experienced professionals that is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. As a manager this job oversees the of strategic business management consulting and is the central point of contact for the leaders in the of business management tasks. This job is responsible for policy and strategy implementation that impact the achievement of strategic business management consulting operational results.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manages team in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
  • Oversees the implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
  • Drives process improvements in assigned business area.
  • Analyzes and reports to senior management on area data (financial headcount etc. and performance metrics.
  • Oversees business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks issues and action items.
  • Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.
  • Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.
  • Manages performance of team through regular timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement motivation and development of team.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Career Level
9PL

Required Experience

  • 5 years of Financial Services Industry experience

  • 5 years of Managerial Experience

Preferred Experience

  • 7 years of Financial Services Industry experience; specifically in Wealth Management

  • Bachelors degree

  • Attention to Detail; Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Excellent oral and written skills. Strong relationship management skills

  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects within the Financial Services Sector.

  • Experience with Process Improvement and Technology project teams

  • Experience leading projects from design to (e.g. developing project approach identifying relevant stakeholders convening meetings executing on workplans tracking and mitigating risks and issues etc.

  • Drive continuous process improvements

  • Analyzes adherence of large project teams to methodologies budgets and timings of projects to determine if process changes need to occur to estimate project details more effectively

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $137800/yr. $215200/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience time in role base salary of internal peers prior performance business sector and geographic location. In addition to base salary the competitive compensation package may include depending on the role participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example annual discretionary incentive programs nonannual sales incentive plans or other nonannual incentive plans).
