Job Description
The work:
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SOC team ensuring the effective detection investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents. This role involves leading a team of security analysts and developing and implementing security strategies and collaborating with other IT and business units to safeguard the organizations information assets. The SOC Manager will ensure continuous monitoring of security events perform threat analysis and manage incident response processes. Additionally this role requires staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. The SOC Manager will play a pivotal role in protecting the organizations IT infrastructure and maintaining its overall security posture.
Heres what you need:
- 8 years of experience in IT and/or Cyber with a minimum of 2 years managing a SOC
- Bachelors Degree required
- Splunk Engineering experience
- Active Top Secret clearance or prior Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access is required

- Preferred Certifications:
- and/or Microsoft Sentinel
- GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
- GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
