The Opportunity:

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Material Coordinator (Production) to join our team. The Material Coordinator (Production) is responsible for the physical and systematic movement of all materials and hardware within an assigned manufacturing cell. This includes maintaining proper storage organizing supplies and consumables queuing jobs and setting priorities at each work center and distributing materials to their appropriate locations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Utilize SAP to locate and issue required components to production orders.
  2. Receive and close incoming raw material orders. Package prepare and deliver orders to next destination.
  3. Process material transactions including stock transfers order releases and inventory adjustments.
  4. Create shippers and deliver materials to shipping department for outside processing.
  5. Distribute materials to production and assembly areas ensuring correct parts and quantities are available to meet production needs.
  6. Optimize shop floor operation to increase machine/operator productivity and improve throughput
  7. Set clear priorities for cell personnel on a daytoday basis driven by production schedules
  8. Store incoming material and supplies by organizing and creating proper storage locations. Requires the use of forklifts hi lo and pallet jacks.
  9. Maintain responsibility for and accountability for product safety and the quality of work including as a minimum all elements defined in the Companys Quality Policy.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 12 years experience working with manufacturing or inventory systems.
    • Previous hi lo or forklift experience preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds 4 inches to 25 inches) capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches).
  • US. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
