Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and providing appropriate insurance solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper servicing of accounts including underwriting claims and risk management
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to provide clients with uptodate information and guidance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients inquiries concerns and policy changes
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of policy renewals endorsements and new business applications
  • Provide support to the sales team in acquiring new commercial accounts and retaining existing clients
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products coverages and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in all work
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and software
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Relevant insurance certifications and licenses as required

Daytoday

  • Communicating with clients via phone email and inperson meetings to address their insurance needs
  • Reviewing and analyzing commercial insurance policies to ensure proper coverage and risk management for clients
  • Coordinating with underwriters and other internal teams to provide seamless service to clients
  • Keeping detailed records of client interactions policy changes and other relevant information
  • Staying informed about industry updates new insurance products and changes in regulations
  • Collaborating with the sales team to support business development efforts and retain existing clients
