Job Description

You will be contacted directly by the facility after applying to this Florida Orange Park Hospital in Jacksonville is seeking a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to help build and lead a brandnew PM&R residency program slated to start summer Candidates:Must be board certified by the American Board of Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation or by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and RehabilitationMust meet the following ACGME requirements:oHave at least three 3 years of prior and relevant clinical activity in practiceoAt least three 3 years of prior GME administrative experience and formal academic appointmentsoDocumented scholarly activity within the past five 5 academic years such as peer reviews research publications review articles peerreviewed journals textbook chapters case reports or clinical series presentations at scientific society meetings and participation in committees and educational organizationsBe willing to combine administrative and diagnostic (teaching) responsibilitiesHave strong administrative and team building skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbout Opportunity:42bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is recognized as a Newsweek Top 20 Americas Best Physical Rehabilitation Center and part of the top 10 percent in the country as designated by the Uniform Data System for Medical we are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities with Stroke Specialty and awarded for outstanding rehabilitation program by hospitalist team who provide the medical treatment to rehab patientsIncentive/Benefits Package:This position is directly employed through TeamHealthEmployed model with health benefitsProfessional liability insurance
