About this position

Provides support to North Memorial Healths medical staff to ensure quality of care and positive clinical outcomes for our customers. This role facilitates all aspects of Provider Peer Review within the NMH System. The purpose of peer review is to promote a positive educational approach to reviews constructive feedback effective dissemination of lessons learned; identification and resolution of system and or process issues that adversely affect our customer care by the medical staff of NMH. The medical staff of NMH believes that the peer review process should be a continuum and that peer review at NMH will be an ongoing systematic and objective process to monitor and evaluate the clinical appropriateness of the practitioner and to address any potential issues at the earliest point along the continuum to prevent more serious issues or problems.

Requirements

Education

Bachelors Degree in nursing.

Experience

Three or more years previous health care experience required
Direct quality improvement experience preferred
Demonstrated verbal written and formal presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills including but not limited to team leading supervision charge or management position preferred.
Demonstrated competence with computer skills including Microsoft Windows operating system and office tools.

Licensure/Certification

Current Minnesota RN licensure State Required
