About the job
We are looking for a Liability / construction underwriter based in London. Focusing on complex casualty within the Liability & Construction team.
In addition to underwriting and account management the role will involve identifying new opportunities and as part of the wider team the development and implementation of new schemes and rollover deals. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues and carrying out broker meetings on behalf of the business.
Essential
- A minimum of 5 years Liability Underwriting experience
- Has/is working towards professional qualifications
- A wellrounded understanding of different product classes
Your professional attributes
- Possess substantial knowledge of the insurance industry
- Have the ability to underwrite complex risks
- Display proven trading capability
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- IT competent particularly with Microsoft Office applications
- A desire to contribute valuable insights and aid in our companys evolution
