Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Treatment Coordinator is a pivotal role to Robinson and Ries Orthodontics and serves as a primary point of contact for potential customers. This role will focus on customer development and ensuring excellent customer service to promote the business and retention. This role will provide a wealth of knowledge of treatment plans and best practices.

Essential Job Function:

  • Obtaining high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment insurance coverage and finance options.
  • Solicit referrals frompatientsposttreatment while at the same time tracking satisfaction with work provided.
  • Contact patients/guarantors the day prior or the day of the appointment regarding fees due and to confirm the appointment.
  • Communicate to office management if schedules are not filled for consults.
  • Presentingtreatment plans and giving estimates of treatment costs in an effective manner.
  • Educating and discussing the Orthodontists treatment plan after diagnosed and reviewed by the clinical staff with the patient.
  • Ensure patients are cleared for treatment including all cleanings and restorations are validated before beginning treatment.
  • Promoting and upholding the values of Orthodontic Partners in all aspects of the job.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and communicate withpotentialcustomers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Ensure patients are cleared for treatment including all cleanings and restorations are validated before beginning treatment.
  • Ensure patients are compliant with appointments financial obligations send the appropriate communication leading up to or including termination from treatment.
  • Drive results and strive to consistently achieve results and goals set forth by management.
  • Other duties as required.

  • High level knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment planning.

  • Understand and can effectively communicate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic field.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of dental insurances service limitsand financing options.
  • Customer service or sales experience along with dental knowledge preferred.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Compassion and high level of service for our patients parents and staff.
  • Integrity always doing the right thing.
  • Dependable reliable to be at work when scheduled.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to organize work engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent Required
  • 13 Years Relative Experience
