The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Controls Engineer to join our team.

This position is 100 onsite and no remote or hybrid is available at this time

The Controls Engineer will also be responsible for:

  • Design of control systems for jet engine test cells systems and test rigs
  • Layout and design of electrical and electronic hardware enclosures
  • Layout and design of electrical wire harnesses
  • Implementation and tuning of control systems
  • Documentation and drawings of designs and analyses
  • Interface with and collect requirements from internal and external customers
  • Troubleshoot and assist repairs of existing test cell control and electrical systems

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Controls or Mechatronics Engineering and 2 years of related experience
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and hardware configurations
  • Able to travel between Pontiac MI and Walled Lake MI
  • Knowledge of Electronic schematics reading and troubleshooting
  • Basic hands on electrical and electronic tools and fabrication techniques
  • Basic knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition
  • U. S. Citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
