Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated talented Experienced Systems Architecture & Integration Engineers to join our Direct Attack Weapons Systems Engineering team located in Saint Charles MO . Programs include Small Diameter (SDB) Ground Launch Small Diameter (GLSDB) Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) Power JDAM Massive Ordinance Penetration (MOP) B61 and other derivatives.

Position Responsibilities:

• Apply an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluate customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces.
• Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Perform analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
• Support develop maintain and identify improvements for the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolve crossfunctional technical issues.

This position is 100 onsite.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelors Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry
• 5 or more years of engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active DoD Security Clearance
• Experience in applying engineering processes and principles
• Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture requirements interface definition verification and validation
• Experience with systems development and integration
• Experience modeling or simulating systems
• Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools schedules and metrics (i.e. Earned value management DOORs CAMEO)
• Experience with Model Based Engineering / Model Based Systems Engineering
• Experience in design /electrical / software engineering & analysis
• Experience in Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering
• Experience leading teams projects or tasks
