Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide expert technical service support and maintenance for faculty and staff across a range of computing printing copying voice and networkrelated issues. This includes critical enterprise systems such as Banner ERP D2L Learning Management System Office 365 Adobe Creative Cloud and video conferencing platforms like Zoom Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx. Additionally this position is responsible for the installation imaging deployment software installation and ongoing administration of technology in campus classrooms and computer labs. The role also involves consulting with users on the acquisition of computers printers and related peripherals to ensure optimal technology solutions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
A bachelors degree in computer science engineering information systems or a related field is required. Alternatively an associates degree in a related field with five 5 years of extensive work experience or seven 7 years of extensive work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required Related Experience
A minimum of three 3 years of extensive experience in the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of microcomputers (both PC and Macintosh) and related peripherals. Experience must include the installation service and support of Windows 10 and 11 as well as macOS 10.5 and later.
Desirable Related Experience
Experience with installation service and support of instructional technology and audio/visual systems preferred.
