The Amazon People Insights team sits at the core of the People Experience and Technology (PxT) organization delivering worldclass data foundations analytics and visualizations that empower leaders across HR Worldwide Operations and Corporate functions. Our mission is to build scalable products that help understand and manage Amazons global talentspanning every job family function and geography.
Our innovative product suite ingests and analyzes vast amounts of people data to generate actionable insights through intuitive dashboards integrated user experiences and a Gen AIpowered assistant. Built using latest technologiesincluding the latest LLM models on Bedrock OpenSearch and morethis assistant is transforming how HR Operations and business leaders make informed datadriven decisions. Key job responsibilities
Were looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to take on a leadership role in shaping the strategy and for Clarity and our Gen AI capabilities. In this role you will leverage your deep technical expertise to guide crossfunctional teams manage endtoend program lifecycles and ensure the delivery of highquality largescale solutions. Youll partner with senior leaders to translate business goals into actionable technical strategies defining roadmaps aligning on requirements and leading teams through complex technical challenges to achieve impactful outcomes.
In addition to driving the overall program strategy you will own the delivery of largescale datadriven products fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence within the team. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and business influencing Amazons global talent strategy while ensuring the team successfully navigates the complexities of delivering latest AIpowered products.
10 years of experience in software development and management with a proven track record of delivering scalable datadriven solutions in complex fastpaced environments.
5 years of experience managing crossfunctional technical programs with global impact and a demonstrated ability to drive strategic highimpact outcomes.
Strong technical acumen with handson experience working with engineering data science and UX teams to deliver largescale AIpowered products.
Expertise in managing and mitigating technical risks across large programs ensuring timely and quality delivery of product milestones.
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
Experience with largescale Gen AI product development particularly using AWS technologies such as Bedrock SageMaker or OpenSearch.
Expertise in people analytics HR tech or workforce management with an understanding of how data and insights drive business and HR decisionmaking.
Proven ability to lead complex multidisciplinary teams through the technical challenges of building and scaling datadriven products.
Experience with agile product development methodologies and managing iterative cycles across crossfunctional teams in fastpaced environments.
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear product strategies and business value.
Masters degree in Computer Science Business Administration (MBA) or a related technical field.
Passion for building innovative products that positively impact large diverse organizations and drive strategic business outcomes at scale.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
