Job Summary
Plans and implements activities of the Pregnancy After Loss program within the OBGYN department ensuring goals and objectives are in accordance with established criteria. Interprets program policies and advises program participants on the application of regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Oversees daily program operations and coordinates program activities which include but are not limited to Bereavement support Parent Perspective and others. 2. Develop and implement program goals and objectives including but not limited to supporting IMPROVE network development organizing annual memorial services organizing and delivering centerwide events providing parent education resources and others. 3. Monitors program quality and effectiveness and researches improvement methods. 4. Establishes program budget; monitors and approves related expenditures and ensures budget goals are met which include but are not limited to Peer Support Program and others. 5. Assists with grant writing and other fundraising activities. 6. Advises staff students and others regarding program policies goals and related technical issues including but not limited to Collaborating on the development and implementation of the sensitization component of training supporting the development of a mechanism to learn from trainees for continual improvement of the training; supporting training development for inpatient at other locations and satellites; and others. 7. Prepares reports financial statements and records on program status and progress for management and outside agencies including but not limited to Join philanthropy events as requested. 8. Writes and edits programrelated publications and promotional or educational materials. 9. Oversees others who schedule meetings seminars and other programrelated functions including but not limited to Part of SAWG USA ; leading SAWG Utah; Part of the core center team; joining all meetings and center events; and others. 10. May assign direct and review the work of support staff. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Demonstrated ability to work independently analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required. This position is patientsensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
