Meet the team:
Our R&D team is looking for a Software Engineer with experience with data engineering modeling and machine learning. In this role you will design develop and deploy new data products leveraging a variety of data sources. You will also drive technical design development and documentation of crossfunctional and multiplatform capabilities. You will work in collaboration with data platform engineers algorithm developers and clinical experts to focus on key metrics for diabetic patients and clinicians.
We are a new team in R&D building new connected experiences for users across devices and part of this team youll be able to shape and implement new databased products that will help millions of diabetes control their illness better. If you enjoy connecting the dots using datadriven engineering decisions innovating through modeling and machine learning youll enjoy this job.
To be successful in this position you will have experience in modern cloudbased systems (GCP Terraform BigQuery) development experience using standard modeling and machine learning libraries understanding of container based platforms such as kubernetes. An essential part of our design involves utilizing PAAS components.
We develop software in the context of producing medical systems which adds another level of challenge to our work as part of the software will need to pass rigorous FDA mandated quality control.
Where you come in:
You have experience with developing full stack applications preferably in a cloud environment like AWS Azure or GCP
You have experience in and comfortable with being part of a team that builds components as part of a distributed environment
You have demonstrated ability to keep up with the everchanging software environments
You have experience in working in a Scrumbased team environment
You have strong programming skills python ML ecosystem tools.
You have experience in building APIs and ecosystem around it using modern frameworks and technologies.
You have familiarity using relevant modern software test tools and equipment
You have experience in building cloudbased container components
You have the ability to work in a dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules and participate in the scrum
What makes you successful:
You have strong Experience working withPython and ML Libraries
You have strong understanding of database systems databasedesign performance tuning etc.
You are able to work efficiently with Linux environment
You have strong CS fundamentals
You have willing to learn new technologies as required
You have experience working with NoSQL databases like Cassandra HBase Couchbase etc
You have experience working with large data sets
You have experience with Hadoop eco system like HDFS Hive MapReduce etc.
You have experience working with RDBMS like Oracle SqlServer MySQL etc
You have experience developing cloud based solutions

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 25 years related experience or Masters degree and a 02 years equivalent experience.
