Job Description
This hires responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing negotiating and drafting a variety of contracts including NDAs consulting agreements with healthcare professionals vendor and purchase agreements data agreements and various other agreements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts.
- Manage a library of contract templates and ensure consistency across all companies.
- Supporting the compliance function including ensuring compliance with the Physician Payments Sunshine Act (Sunshine Act).
- Assisting in development of policies and procedures for contract management and administration.
- Assist with special projects as needed including updating contracts playbook and supporting other legal and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 35 years experience negotiating drafting and finalizing contracts in an inhouse legal environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills a commitment to client service and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders including teammates and business team members across the innovation hub and its portfolio companies as well as with outside vendors consultants and outside counsel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with contract management systems e.g. Conga).
- Quickly learn adapt to and manage new software applications to support evolving business needs.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
