NCDOTs TSMO Unit currently has an opening for an ITS Development & Design Project Engineer.

The Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) & Signals Management Section plans designs and implements ITS technologies across North Carolina. We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor II to serve as the ITS Development & Design Project Engineer responsible for managing ITS design coordinating with Traffic Systems Operations and overseeing contract management.

Bachelors degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution and four 4 years of progressively responsible experience including two 2 years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Necessary Special Qualification May require registration as a professional engineer by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
