The Global Regulatory Affairs Project Management Specialist will be part of a global program management team where the focus is on managing resiliency led projects. The role focuses on supporting a specific program through design implementation and sustainability and includes (where applicable) planning scheduling tracking and communicating through the direction of the RCE Program Manager and the individual program leadership.

The key responsibilities may include:

Program Support:

  • Support scope adjustments and revised planning needs through project plan iterations and approvals using Microsoft Project and ADO as necessary
  • Identify project resource needs and support requests and submissions for approval
  • Align periodic status reporting to expectations of the central PMO including reporting standards for RAAID log periodic status updates change control and escalations
  • Identify manage and close issues raised within the program under guidance of Program Manager and program leadership team

Tracking and Control

  • Manage project schedule and task details utilizing project management tools such as reports tracking charts checklists and project scheduling software.
  • Communicate with the team management partners and vendors (if applicable).
  • Manage proposed changes to project parameters.
  • Monitor quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Respond timely to challenges raised by stakeholders

Closeout

  • Ensure project deliverables are timely provided for packaging inclusive of all required elements
  • Manage signoff process including contemporaneous documentation of deliverables into repository
  • Manage the handover of project deliverables from the team to stakeholders and/or program management
  • Hold project review sessions to capture lessons learned to incorporate into future projects.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Bachelors Degree or commensurate related job experience
  • 10 years of related experience in Project Management
  • Experience of working in rapidly changing and ambiguous work environment
  • Demonstrated experience of using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile project management approaches.
  • Proficient in project planning and organization with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Understanding and experience with related financial services business processes.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines in an ever changing fastpaced environment.
  • High degree of commitment flexibility selfmotivation selfconfidence assertiveness and high tolerance of ambiguity.
  • Ability to show learning agility and gather domain specific knowledge to become well conversant on the business and technical aspects of inscope projects.

Salary Range:

$USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
